Axie Champions schedule to the launch
The countdown to the most thrilling gaming experience of the year has begun! We are thrilled to announce the awaited launch schedule for our new Axie-based IP game on the Ronin Network, Axie Champions. We’d love to share more about the schedules and how we have been focusing on building Axie Champions.
Up to the Alpha Phase:
From the beginning on the January 2023, it has been a super busy 7 months while closely working together with Sky Mavis, the creator of Axie Infinity and Axie Origin. The Baligames team was formed, decided to make a match3 game using Axie IP and use the Ronin Network, and created the Alpha build — within only 7 months!
The in-game play video shared on @axiechampions Twitter page was the result of alpha phase. Most of functions and features were developed in this phase including match3 game play, gotcha, team edition, PVP league, PVE modes such as Boss Rush and Gold Rush, relics, and so on.
Beta Development Phase and CBT:
In the pursuit of excellence, the game is currently undergoing the Beta development phase. Our dedicated team of developers, designers, and testers are working tirelessly to ensure a seamless and captivating gaming experience. In addition to the Alpha-build, balancing, Skins, NFT integration, Ronin Wallet integration, and other feature development are subject to the Beta Phase.
We’re excited to announce that the Closed Beta Test (CBT) is just around the corner — the 1st CBT would be held with the Sky Mavis team and the 2nd CBT would be held with the Axie Champions community members. The exact schedules have not decided yet, but selected participants would get an exclusive sneak peek into the wonders of Axie Champions, providing invaluable feedback to further enhance the game.
NFT Presale Event:
As the excitement builds, we are thrilled to share that a monumental NFT Presale Event is scheduled for the 4Q of 2023. Stay tuned for further updates as we finalize the details for this event schedule! This is your chance to acquire Axie Champions Item NFTs that will grant you special privileges and rewards in the Axie Champions. Moreover, every bit of RON raised from the NFT presale will be dedicated to covering the transaction fees, ensuring a seamless gaming experience for all our players.
