Event Announcement: Casting Call!

We are excited to be the first few game studios developing Axie IP based games and leveraging the Ronin network. In that development process, we are looking for ways to enable Web2 gamers to play Web3 games without requiring them to possess NFTs knowledge or the financials to purchase Axie NFTs.

One approach we had was to create bot Axies for those who are unfamiliar with or unable to own an Axie. However, we realized that each Axie is a distinctive creature and generating a Random Axie would conflict with the design of the Axies owned by members of the Axie Infinity community.

Leaning on the Community

Baligames is fairly new to the Axie Community members but the team has a faith to make great games utilizing Axie IP and Ronin. So we decided to turn to the most important pillar of the entire ecosystem — the Axie Community.

We want the Axie Community to be involved in the game design by contributing their Axies to Bali Games, which will be transformed into Starter and Bot player Axies. The chosen Axies will be stored in the Bali Games’ Ronin wallet indefinitely for the IP use.

How the Casting Call works

We are announcing a Casting Call to all Axie Community members — we need Axies to develop a kick-ass casual game on mobile. We are gathering 5 Starter Axies that will be used for players who don’t possess their own. In addition to that, we need around 300 bot Axies for our PvE mode.

For the 5 selected winners, there will also be an opportunity to name the Starter Axies in collaboration with the Axie Champions team.
