We are thrilled to announce the commencement of Season 2, set to run for approximately three weeks from March 11th, 6:00 PM to April 3rd, 6:00 PM.
What’s New in Season 2:
Expanded Rewards: We’ve extended the pool of winners to the top 1000 ranks! Get ready for a 10x increase in the Winners’ pool. Let’s go!
Boosted Prize Fund: To address concerns about insufficient rewards, Axie Champions team will use its revenues to start Season 2 with double of the total rewards of Season 1, a whopping 30 million CUBE!
Dynamic Prize Structure: Season 2 introduces a dynamic reward structure. As the community actively participates, the prize fund will exponentially increase. The more the community engages, the more significant the rewards become!
CUBE Utilization System: The system where a portion of the CUBE spent contributes to the prize pool remains unchanged. This structure is fundamental to the competitiveness of the Axie Champions leaderboard.
Champion Buffs: Certain Champions less utilized in Season 1 will receive temporary skill buffs in Season 2! Here are the details:
ILLUSION FIRE: Recovery increased by 100%
LEAP CANOPY: Health recovery duration increased to 2 turns
SENTINEL: Recovery increased by 35%
OVER SPIN: Recovery increased by 50%
VITALITY BOOSTER: Recovery increased by 20% / Cast recovery for 2 ally Champions with the lowest health
IMP SHIELD: Recovery increased by 70%
THUNDER STORM: Damage increased by 20%
LAVENDER FLY: Recovery increased by 80%
CRAB LEGS: Health Stat increased by 50%
ZET WINGS: Attack Stat increased by 50%
Skills and Part Stat bonus applied during Season 2 only.
Improved Prize Distribution: We’ve revamped the prize structure to maintain rewards for top-tier users while increasing rewards for lower-tier users.
Discord Calendar: To avoid any confusion about the season duration, we will set the start and end dates on the Discord calendar (3/11 18:00 ~ 4/3 18:00).
Future Patch Notes: Stay tuned for upcoming patch notes detailing changes and updates.
Community Engagement Fund: To encourage active participation, Season 2 features a substantial fund that increases the Champions league prize based on how many users engage with the game and the community events.
